Day 9 - Osney the Lonely

So back on the boat but 'ACCESS DENIED' due to health and bleeding safety at Osney Lock which is  our gateway onto the Thames.
Our way was barred by Peter the Lock Keeper who looked a little like a young Karl Marx in cargo shorts.
To any man in his mid to late 40's the thought of a strong continuous stream may sound fantastic but in boating terms it can be deadly.

We were going to rush him and take to the Thames anyway until this guy turned up and caused us to cool our jets.
